There are a number of books that I would like to read for school. Some of them are Redwall, The Hobbit, or Anne Frank. I like all of these books for many different reasons. Redwall and The Hobbit both are adventure stories and can be really exciting. Anne Frank however is a very serious book and is very powerful.
Redwall is a story about a mouse that grows up in a big fortress of mice. He starts out as a young foolish and clumsy mouse but by the end of the book he finds out that he is a long descendant from a warrior mouse and he has to rise up and save his fortress and community from the evil rats.
The Hobbit is a great adventures story about a Hobbit (a small hairy human) that comes across a very powerful ring that can make you invisible. But this ring can also make you very greedy and can control you. This wonderful story about a hobbit and his dwarf companions and their adventure to take back what is theirs!
Lastly, we could read the diary of Anne Frank. This book is very powerful and tells a story about a young Jewish girl who has to hide inside an attic from the Nazis. We have been reading a lot of powerful books and this would be another great book to read and discuss.
All of these books are great reads and can be very fun to read. I would be very excited to read these books. They would surely mix it up from the regular school books that we have to read.
